Several thousand college students in Durango, and you wonder, "Is anyone trying to reach them?" Heck, yes, we are! Our college ministry (now more than 10 years old) is well-known on campus, and we're making an impact there.

We want to reach the Christians who need a place to minister during their college years, and we're active in trying to show love to the students who don't yet know the Jesus of the Bible. Our goal is to know Jesus and to make him known, and to share God's love in practical ways in our community.

Every Thursday and 7 p.m. we meet at Grace Church to have dinner, worship, and study the Bible -- all to get to know God and each other more. We also hang out a lot -- camping, hiking, going on trips and to concerts, watching movies.

We take that time to build fellowship and to strengthen one another because we are intensely focused on outreach on campus and service in the community, so we need to be ready to serve and minister, sometimes in challenging situations.
